What is Martial Arts?
Martial arts, also known as fighting systems, are bodies of
codified practices or traditions of training for unarmed and
armed combat, usually without the use of guns and other
modern weapons. People study martial arts for various
reasons including fitness, self-cultivation (meditation),
mental/character development, and self-defence.


What are the Benefits?
It is a modern world now and many things happen. In
Europe 72% of people have been attacked for a Hi-tec
equipment, for example: Mobile phones, Laptops, Walkmans,
Microphones, Portable game consoles etc. The Government
say they are doing their best to get those attackers in jail, but
most of them are still out in cities and towns. To avoid these
attacks Martial Arts comes in handy. You can use Martial
Arts for self Defence!


Most people in this World are unhealthy by eating too
much junk food or eating necessary food but not exercising.
Martial Arts will keep you healthy if you are committed to
it. Also you will have a longer life.


Martial will increase your flexibility.


People who have high blood pressure, it is best for you to
try Martial Arts because it will reduce it in a big amount.


One of the main important to rule is to be disciplined and
to pay respect to your Master Instructors and senior members
of the club or Academy. It will help in future to be a great
person who disciplined and respectful.


Meditation is one part of Martial Arts. It keeps your mind
and body relaxed as possible. Relaxed from all the problems
you have in life.


Many people are scared of at least one thing in their lives
but to overcome that Martial Arts could gain confidence for
you. It will help throughout your life.
Lists of different types of famous Martial Arts:


Ju Jitsu: Ju Jitsu is a great Martial Arts for flexibility.
Every type Martial Arts involves flexibility but Ju Jitsu
involves a big amount of flexibility. Ju Jitsu does not use
strength against strength, it uses the opponents strength and
force of attack as a weapon against him, thus enabling a
stronger or bigger attacker to be subdued.


Judo: Judo is based on the ancient Japanese martial art
called Ju Jitsu. Professor Kano opened the Kodokan Dojo in
Tokyo, Japan in the year 1882 and started to train students in
Nippon-Den-Kodokan-Judo. Judo means ‘Gentle Way’. This
involves attacking and defensive techniques and adapting
strength.


Karate: Karate is the most growing Martial Arts in the
world. People tend to choose Karate than any other Martial
Arts because it is often used in films and people find that
Martial Art attractive. Karate was originated in Japan. Karate
is a Japanese word meaning ‘empty hand’. It is a Martial Art
involves un-armed self defence blocks, striking techniques
through kicks and punches and shouts for different stances.


Tae Kwon Do: Tae Kwon Do is the world's most widely
practice martial art. Tae Kwon Do is a Korean fighting art
that looks very similar to Japanese karate. It is an Olympic
sport, an artistic discipline, a system of self-defence, and a
way of life. Above Blue belt means you are a senior member,
Black belts means your master of this Martial Art and then
you can go beyond the black belt getting Dans.
There are many other Martial Arts in this world.
